Senior Backend Engineer (Python)

Tech Stack & Focus: — Backend: Python (FastAPI), strong knowledge of asynchronous programming — Architecture: distributed systems, event-driven architecture (EDA) — Data streaming: Kafka (topology design, delivery guarantees) — Infrastructure: building data pipelines for processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

In the first 3 months, you will: — Build a production-ready backend architecture — Design and launch data ingestion pipelines from heterogeneous sources — Develop scalable backend services and APIs — Ensure observability, logging, and system auditability — Deliver working endpoints/services demonstrating stable performance under load.

Requirements: — Proven 5+ years of experience: you have launched production systems used by businesses or large organizations — Deep understanding of distributed systems and their behavior under load — Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar streaming systems — Backend development experience in Python (FastAPI or similar frameworks)
