Cookie Policy

1. Essential

Required for authentication and basic site operation. These cannot be disabled: without them you cannot sign in.

• access_token — the access token the service uses to recognise you on each request.
• refresh_token — refreshes the session so you are not signed out.
• is_authenticated — 30 days. A "user is signed in" marker the server reads to render the page correctly from the first byte.
• is_subscribed — 30 days. The same marker for an active subscription.
• rh_cookie_consent — 12 months. Your analytics choice: consent from the banner or a decision made on the cookie settings page. We ask again after a year.

2. Functional

These remember your interface settings. Delete them and the site still works — it just forgets your preferences.

• palette — 12 months. The colour theme you picked.
• NEXT_LOCALE — 12 months. Interface language.
• advanced_filters_open — 12 months. Whether the advanced filters block was expanded.
• has_recommendations — 30 days. An "this account has a profile" marker the server reads to decide whether the home page opens on recommendations or on the full list. Removed when you sign out.
• feed_mode — 30 days. Which vacancy list tab you picked last: recommendations, all, or saved.
• rh_filter_labels — 12 months. The names of the filters you selected — skills, cities, companies. Like any cookie it is sent to our server on every request, and that is the point: the server reads the names from it so the page opens with them already in place instead of after the reference lists load. It holds names only for what is selected right now; clearing a filter removes its entry. This used to live in localStorage and never left your browser.
• rh_subscribe_redirect — 30 minutes. Where to send you back after checkout; removed as soon as you return.
• rh_pending_payment — 7 days. The id of the payment you left for the checkout page. On your next visit we use it to show the result, even if you never pressed "back to the shop". Removed as soon as the result is shown, the payment is canceled or refunded, or it turns out not to be visible to your account; in any case no longer than 7 days.
• maintenance_bypass — 7 days. A service cookie: shows the live site during maintenance instead of the maintenance screen. The site never sets it on its own; it appears only on a separate request our team uses to check the service before reopening.

3. Analytics

We use Yandex Metrica (Yandex LLC) to understand how people use the service. The counter runs from the first visit in basic mode: it counts page views, navigation, goal actions, and a click map. That is how we see where visitors come from and what on the site works and what does not.

Webvisor turns on only after you press "Got it" in the banner. It records your session: cursor movement, clicks, scrolling, navigation between pages, and the content of the pages you saw. We review those recordings only to find places where the interface gets in the way. Recording starts from the next page load after you agree.

You can turn analytics off entirely in the "Cookie settings" block at the bottom of this page. After that the counter is not loaded and its cookies are deleted.

If you are signed in, we also send Metrica your account identifier and whether you have a subscription (premium or free), so that one person on several devices is not counted as several people. Your email, name, resume text, and document contents are never sent to Metrica.

• _ym_uid — visitor identifier.
• _ym_d — date of the first visit.
• _ym_isad — ad blocker detection.
• _ym_visorc — Webvisor recording flag; set only after you agree in the banner.
• Metrica may set other service cookies prefixed with _ym. Turning analytics off deletes all of them.

4. Browser storage

Technically not cookies, but the data sits in your browser all the same, so we list it here. None of it is sent to our servers.

• rh_feedback_draft (localStorage) — a draft of the feedback form so your text is not lost. Cleared once you submit.
• rh_saved_filters (localStorage) — up to five named filter presets saved without an account: the name you gave each one, the search parameters themselves, when it was saved, and a random number that tells one preset from another. That number is generated in your browser, is tied to nothing else, and never reaches our servers. The entry also holds a marker recording that the question about moving your presets into an account has already been asked, so it is not asked twice. A preset goes when you delete it or move it into an account, and the whole entry is removed once neither a preset nor that marker is left.
• rh_recommendations_intro_seen (localStorage) — a marker that you have already seen the note explaining the recommendations feed. It is now kept with your account instead: the entry is read once and removed the next time you open the feed signed in.
• rh:home-filters (sessionStorage) — your last search parameters, so you return to the same results.
• scroll:* (sessionStorage) — scroll position in the job list.
• rh_chunk_reloaded (sessionStorage) — an internal marker that prevents a reload loop when a new version of the site ships.

5. Declining and withdrawing consent

Until you press "Got it" in the banner, Webvisor does not run: sessions are not recorded, and only visit statistics are collected.

You can turn analytics off entirely, or withdraw consent you already gave, in the "Cookie settings" block at the bottom of this page. We delete the analytics cookies and stop collecting data; you do not need to contact support.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Note that blocking the essential ones breaks sign-in.
