🧭 About the Role Briefly We are looking for an Art Director to manage a small team of artists, maintain the existing visual style of the project, and create concepts for asset production in the art deco style.

🩸 About the Project Derailed is a first-person narrative adventure with body horror elements set in a Victorian era with Lovecraftian motifs. The action unfolds on a medical train against the backdrop of a protracted war and a mysterious "epidemic" that distorts people and reality. The main character hides behind a false identity, trying to cope with the consequences of his own mistake.

🛠 Tasks • Leading a team of artists (3 people) • Setting and monitoring tasks in Jira • Maintaining and developing the project's visual style • Creating concepts for assets • Quality control of models and textures

⚙️ Main Pipeline • Unity (PC, Steam) • Blender • Substance and similar tools • AI tools (nanobanana, Stable Diffusion)

📌 Requirements • Proficient in Blender • Drawing and concept creation skills • Full cycle of 3D asset creation • Understanding of optimization and PC graphics requirements • Team management experience • Ability to maintain a consistent project visual style • Experience working in the art deco style and with the impasto technique

💼 Conditions • First month — paid trial period • Payment during the trial period: 1500 USD • Based on the results of the month, a decision will be made on continuing cooperation • Fully remote work • Flexible schedule with the ability to set your own working hours • Clear adherence to deadlines and team synchronization is important

❗️ Important The project already has a formed visual style. We need a person who can consistently develop it within the demo production. The candidate is required to have high personal responsibility for deadlines and the team's work results. You can familiarize yourself with the project's visual style in our Telegram group.
