🎴 42 is hiring across AI research and HFT roles: Amsterdam / Remote

One of the more unusual setups I’ve seen in MFT / HFT: instead of relying only on researchers manually developing strategies, 42 is building systems that can generate hypotheses, test them, and take successful ideas all the way into live trading.

They’ve reopened the AI Researcher (MFT) role:

• automate the research cycle from hypothesis to deployment
• Python + ML + market microstructure
• 2+ years of MFT / HFT research experience
• Amsterdam / Remote

And there are two new senior openings:

TradFi Research Lead

• lead MFT research across equities, futures, ETFs, options and FX
• develop portfolio construction
• 5+ years in systematic trading research, with a track record of taking profitable strategies to production
• Amsterdam, with relocation support

Lead HFT Engineer

• lead the architecture of an ultra-low-latency C++ trading system
• strong background in HFT or other real-time systems, concurrency and performance optimization
• Amsterdam / Remote
