BACKEND DEVELOPER

We are a rather unusual IT company: we have our own programming language, MPL, which we use in all our projects (and we have many of them, from game engine development to science-intensive biotech). Over the past few years, we have created a full-fledged internal ecosystem with our own frameworks, libraries, and platform services. Now our backend division needs strengthening.

This is not a classic backend vacancy where you just need to write endpoints and query a database. We are building a platform on which other company teams create their products. Together, we will develop an ORM and a data interaction layer, a framework for server applications (description of models, automatic CRUD API, real-time interaction, authorization, middleware), as well as tools for debugging, accelerating development, fault tolerance, and system scaling. Our goal is to build a reliable foundation that is convenient to use.

It is important for us that you:

• have a strong fundamental knowledge of mathematics and information technology
• have real programming experience in any object-oriented language (not just in academic projects)
• have worked with databases, standard network protocols, and distributed systems
• know how to work with version control systems and issue trackers
• have a desire to develop not only in Backend but also in related IT areas

We will be glad if:

• you have ever designed the architecture of a distributed system
• you know how to optimize key metrics related to backend and high load
• you know how to effectively and safely use AI tools in development
• you have experience writing libraries for development
• you are interested in taking initiative and taking responsibility for specific technical areas
