C++ Developer for Maps Geosearch Team

The geosearch team is responsible for all search scenarios within Yandex Maps. We are looking for a backend developer to advance our search services and agent platform. We expect you to know C++ and Python, be able to write readable code, and understand basic algorithms.

Yandex Maps is a popular service for finding places and organizations. Our team's key task is to teach Maps to respond qualitatively to search queries. Every day, we help tens of millions of users find specific locations on the map (e.g., Yandex at Lev Tolstoy street) and generate recommendations for complex and non-trivial queries (e.g., a restaurant with a beautiful city view). The geosearch team is actively developing AI assistants and conversational scenarios based on agent platforms and large language models. We are looking for backend developers to create next-generation geosearch services.
