We love healthtech — and who doesn't: it's an opportunity to help people in a truly important area of life! 🏥

But there aren't that many truly cool startups in health (not wellness!). Millions of regulations, complex economics — and not many ways to integrate into this system while making money.

That's why Neru Health's business model, for whom we are again looking for engineers, seems even cooler to us. As you remember, they are developing AI support for patients using medical devices. They started with CPAP masks for treating sleep apnea — and now they are expanding to other chronic diseases! AI assistant Nora answers questions about device usage, helps resolve problems, and reminds users to order consumables on time 👩‍⚕️

Thanks to this, patients start following recommendations much more often — but they aren't the only ones who benefit: equipment providers are also happy. In the US, insurance companies reimburse the provider for expenses only if the patient regularly uses the issued device. If they stop using it — they stop paying 🤷‍♀️

Nora also reduces the workload on provider call centers — and allows live specialists to handle more complex cases. It's a win-win: patients receive support and don't abandon treatment, providers save money and improve service — and Neru continues to grow and build their product 😼

We have already found a backend developer and an ML specialist for their cool team (MSFTI, SHAD, Harvard, HSE, etc.), and now we are looking for two more:

Backend Engineer: 📌3+ years of experience in Python; 📌familiar with cloud infrastructure; 📌ready for a startup: capable of thinking about the product and setting up monitoring.

AI Engineer: 📌 a strong product backend developer who once moved into building LLM-based systems; 📌 has already worked with conversational AI — voice or chat; 📌 knows Python excellently, and perhaps a little frontend too.

Office in Munich, salary $115k–140k + equity. They help with relocation within the EU, and are also willing to consider the USA with a different salary range 🥨
