AI writes it from your resume. You only have to send it.
Mission:
To free DevOps engineers and system administrators from repetitive manual tasks by converting them into scripts, pipelines, and automations. Working under the guidance of DevOps, the task is to assist them and the sysadmin in daily routines and gradually take over everything that can be automated.
What you will do:
● Write scripts for routine operational tasks (Bash / Python / PowerShell): backups and their verification, log rotation, regular checks, system status reports; ● Automate the creation and revocation of access, user accounts, and environments for developers and QA; ● Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub); ● Configure monitoring and alerting: dashboards, rules, initial alert analysis; ● Build Docker images and compose configurations, assist with local and testing environments; ● Maintain infrastructure inventory and documentation; ● Handle first-line internal IT requests (access, VPN, workstations), freeing up the sysadmin; ● Use AI tools for script writing, log analysis, and documentation; ● Measure results: how many hours of routine per month DevOps and SysAdmin stop spending.
Mandatory requirements:
● Linux at a junior administrator level: file system and permissions, processes, systemd, logs, basic diagnostics; ● Scripting: Bash + Python/PowerShell; ● Docker: building images, running containers, docker compose; ● Git; understanding how a CI/CD pipeline works; ● Network fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, firewall; ● Basic understanding of monitoring systems (Prometheus/Grafana, Zabbix or equivalent); ● Experience with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar); ● Accuracy: understanding that infrastructure actions can be irreversible, the habit of checking commands before execution and making backups before changes.
IMPORTANT:
● Georgian citizenship or a valid residence permit with the right to work; ● Permanent residency in Georgia, except for vacations or one-time trips; ● Work format: remote within the country; ● Willingness to complete an unpaid test task.
Will be a plus: Ansible / Terraform, cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP), Kubernetes fundamentals, Windows / Active Directory administration, .NET application hosting (IIS / Kestrel / nginx), n8n, experience with IT request tracking systems.
