What you will do: • Develop microservices using Python / FastAPI / asyncio • Design a task queue in PostgreSQL with FOR UPDATE SKIP LOCKED • Implement retries, backoff, idempotency, heartbeat, and protection against double execution • Work with transactions, locks, and concurrent access • Develop REST and gRPC/protobuf contracts • Design the resource layer and the limits/budgets system

Stack: Python 3.11+, FastAPI, asyncio, SQLAlchemy 2.x, PostgreSQL 16, Redis, Alembic, Pydantic, pytest, gRPC/protobuf. Some services are in Go.

We are looking for someone who: • Confidently writes industrial-strength Python • Knows SQL and PostgreSQL very well • Understands transactions, isolation levels, locks, and indexes • Knows message delivery semantics and idempotency • Has experience developing distributed systems

➕ Go, Temporal, Kafka, ClickHouse, and experience with high loads are a big plus.
