Frontend Developer (React/TypeScript)

Aviasales for Business is a business trip organization service and the world's first meta-search for flight tickets for companies. We compare flight ticket prices from different providers and offer B2C prices for business.

In addition to flight tickets, we also sell hotels, train tickets, bus tickets, transfers, insurance, and additional services.

With us, companies get low prices on travel services, a user-friendly personal account, the ability for employees to book tickets, customizable travel policies, and all the necessary closing documents for accounting.

We make business trips convenient for employees and simple for companies.

Our frontend is an SPA on TypeScript, using React and MobX. The entire frontend is adaptive and works equally well on mobile devices and desktops. The backend is on Python/Django with a clean and beautiful REST API. Tasks are planned in weekly sprints via JIRA and are described in detail by the product team. Most tasks have detailed mockups for different screen widths.

To strengthen the product team, we need a frontend developer. If you are confident in writing TypeScript and have worked with React and MobX — this vacancy is for you! We expect you to understand the TS/React/MobX stack, have a grasp of web application architecture and OOP, and consider optimization and performance to be more than just empty words.

What needs to be done

• develop the Aviasales for Business B2B service using TypeScript and React/MobX;
• discuss interfaces together with the design team and product manager;
• monitor frontend performance and catch user errors;
• review code of other developers;
• closely interact with backend developers.

What we expect from you

• frontend development experience of 3+ years, with at least 1 year in TypeScript;
• good knowledge of pure JavaScript and TypeScript;
• understanding of MV* principles, OOP patterns, and reactive programming;
• confident cross-browser layout skills (HTML5, CSS3, SCSS);
• experience with React and MobX - will be a plus;
• experience creating SPAs;
• work with build tools Webpack/Vite;
• experience writing e2e tests (cypress, playwright) and unit tests (jest, vitest);
• experience working with GIT;
• understanding of client-side web application security fundamentals (XSS, CSRF).
