Social Video Editor

📣 Hiring for a Social Video Editor to Collaborate With Byrdie's Social Team 📣

I’m looking for a freelance/contract social video editor to partner with Byrdie this year 🎥✨

This role is for someone who truly gets native social editing — you understand pacing, hooks, captions, trends, and how content needs to shift across platforms (especially short-form). You’d be editing multiple videos per month, so consistency and reliability are key.

The ideal editor:

• Works East Coast hours (EST)
• Can start mid-August (can be flexible)
• Thinks social-first
• Uses Adobe Premiere Pro
• Understands platform nuances and trends
• Has experience with beauty, fashion, and celeb-based content
• Can move quickly while keeping quality high
• Is collaborative and open to creative feedback

If this sounds like you — or someone you know — I’d love to connect. Please email me at recruiter contact with the subject: Social Video Editor.
