Lead Specialist in Manual and Automated Testing with C#

Responsibilities

• Develop necessary test documentation for tasks (test cases, automated test documentation)
• Develop and approve acceptance criteria and test cases
• Develop automated tests for the system functionality
• Refine frameworks for automated tests
• Update the test model and make changes to automated tests when requirements change
• Prepare test data
• Conduct automated/manual testing (50/50) (functional, integration, regression)
• Identify and log defects in the accounting system
• Prioritize and assess the criticality of identified defects
• Approve and validate project documentation related to testing
• Prepare release reports on quality (number of defects found/fixed in test/production)
• Analyze and reproduce production environment defects

Our Candidate Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in automated testing
• Senior-level manual testing skills
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, understanding the principles and values of these approaches
• Understanding of the development lifecycle and the value of each stage
• Strong knowledge of Jira, Confluence (creating Epics, Tasks, Bugs)
• Strong knowledge of JS, C#
• Practical knowledge and skills:
  • functional testing methodologies
  • automated testing frameworks like SpecFlow (C#)
  • client-server architecture, SOAP/REST
  • HTTP/REST (understanding principles, knowledge of methods, knowledge of URL structure, and ability to write endpoints)
  • working with various types of system documentation (FSD, OTAR, diagrams, models, analysis of work results, etc.)
