Mobile Developer (iOS/Android) at Yandex Pay

Yandex Pay is Yandex's young fintech service with big plans. We are developing a promo module to promote the product through merchants and increase sales. We are looking for an experienced engineer who knows one mobile platform well — iOS or Android — and has practical experience with the second.

Yandex Pay is the youngest Yandex fintech service with big plans. Our team is developing a promo module: it allows us to promote the product through external merchants, grow the top of the funnel, and increase sales. In fact, we are a growth point for the service: our screens and mechanics are visible to users on the websites and in applications of external partners and Yandex services with a huge audience.

To quickly launch and test promo mechanics on both platforms simultaneously, we are building a product on backend-driven UI (BDUI) based on DivKit: a significant part of the logic and layout of promo screens resides on the backend, while clients remain thin. This allows us to test hypotheses and conduct A/B tests without an application release cycle. Therefore, we need an engineer who is interested in working not only on the client side but also on the server that determines what this client draws.

We are looking for someone who knows one mobile platform well (iOS or Android) and has practical experience with the second, and most importantly — wants to develop: from client to BDUI backend, from one platform to both, from an individual feature to the platform of promo mechanics.
