Software Engineer (Mobile)

Bright Pattern is a global provider of cloud-based contact center software that helps businesses to organize work, automate frequent responses, and stay in context of the customer inquiries from contact to contact, irrespective of the contact channel.

We are looking for Software Engineer to join our strong professional team in creating the next generation of mobile contact center technology.

What we want from you:

• You love developing for Mobile devices and are comfortable developing for both iOS and Android
• You have experience in the full life cycle of software development process, from inception to actual usage in production
• You will be comfortable working in a close-knit team of engineers with React Native being the primary environment for the team effort
• You must have decent knowledge and practical experience in JavaScript
• Understand the benefits of strong typing and love using TypeScript
• You will be comfortable working with either an existing codebase or creating mobile applications from scratch
• You will be a part of the team who works with peers to discuss solutions, approaches, and all aspects of development. Your success is a team success.
• Be willing to constantly develop new technical and intrapersonal skills, acquire knowledge, and share it with the team

Required skills:

• 5+ years working in developer role in a software development company
• Knowledge of programming languages React Native, Java, Kotlin, Swift and familiarity with corresponding frameworks/libraries
• Excellent understanding of benefits and limitations of mobile platforms
• Basic knowledge of HTTP protocol and client-server communication
• Comfortable with GIT
• Fluent English

Nice to have:

• CI/CD Github Actions/Jenkins
• Knowledge and experience with React.js and TypeScript
• Familiarity with C++, Objective C
• VoIP experience, WebRTC
• Linux experience (development, operation, administration)
