About the Job Ethos is expanding its Energy Infrastructure capability and is seeking a Senior High Voltage Engineer specialising in HV Electrical Engineering to support the development and delivery of HV and MV infrastructure projects across Ireland, the UK and Europe.
The role will focus on the design and delivery of energy centres, substations, landing stations, interconnectors and associated energy infrastructure projects, while supporting the growth of an in-house HV engineering team within Ethos.
This is a senior technical role requiring a strong background in HV substation design, client and utility interface management, and multidisciplinary project delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, external consultants, utilities, OEMs and clients to deliver high-quality HV infrastructure solutions.
The role combines:
This position is primarily office-based with regular client meetings, workshops and site visits across Ireland, the UK and Europe.
Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of HV and MV infrastructure projects, including:
Develop and review:
Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary design teams, including:
Interface directly with:
Support the development of Ethos’ HV engineering capability, including:
Review technical studies and support design decision-making, including:
Support tendering, technical bid reviews and project planning activities.
Attend site visits, inspections and commissioning activities as required.
