Job Title: Senior Software Engineer – Voice Platform Department & Team: R&D Genesys Cloud & GCV Dev
Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Voice Platform team, building high-performance, network-facing services that power real-time voice communications for Genesys Cloud contact centers worldwide.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Java backend engineer who enjoys building reliable, scalable cloud services and wants to broaden their experience across networking, Linux, C, and real-time communications.
Java will be the primary development language for this role, with engineers working on cloud backend services and distributed systems that support our global Voice Platform. You will also have opportunities to contribute to systems-level and network-facing components written in C, developing your knowledge of the lower levels of the voice technology stack.
You will own features end to end and help deliver highly available voice capabilities used by enterprise customers at global scale. Prior SIP/VoIP or contact-center experience is a plus, not a requirement. If you enjoy backend engineering, distributed systems, production ownership, and learning a specialized technical domain, this role is for you.
