Marketing and Communications specialist

📣 We're looking for a freelance Marketing and Communications specialist to join the Big Chalk team.

As Big Chalk continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced freelancer to work alongside our Communications Lead, helping amplify the voices, stories and impact of one of England's most ambitious nature recovery partnerships.

Working across an area covering more than 20% of England, Big Chalk brings together more than150 organisations restoring chalk streams, reconnecting species-rich grasslands, supporting nature-friendly farming and accelerating landscape-scale nature recovery.

This is a collaborative role. You'll help celebrate our partners, share inspiring projects, raise the profile of Big Chalk and support campaigns such as the Big Chalk Nature Recovery Fund. You'll work closely with our Communications Lead, while having the autonomy to manage your own workload, bring fresh ideas and shape the work you deliver.

We're looking for someone who:

• has experience delivering marketing and communications projects
• writes engaging content across a range of channels
• enjoys building relationships and working with partners
• is organised, proactive and comfortable working independently
• values the flexibility of freelance work that fits around existing clients and commitments.

If you'd like to use your communications skills to help tell the story of nature's recovery across southern England's iconic chalk and limestone landscapes, we'd love to hear from you.

Submit your Request for Quotation (RFQ) by end of Wednesday 2 September.
