We are looking for an information security engineer to practically build the security of our cloud infrastructure.

You will be working with infrastructure that includes:

• virtual servers
• private clouds
• dedicated physical servers
• distributed network and security perimeter

Our task is to build a complete security perimeter around the IaaS platform: from network protection to incident monitoring. This is a hands-on role where it is important not only to understand security but also to configure protection systems, analyze events, and strengthen the infrastructure in practice.

What you will be doing:

The majority of your time will be spent on engineering tasks:

• setting up and administering IDS/IPS, WAF, SIEM, EDR
• working with Fortigate (rules, policies, network segmentation)
• analyzing security logs and events
• investigating security incidents
• developing and improving detection rules
• interacting with SOC
• participating in the design of IaaS protection architecture

Additionally:

• searching for infrastructure vulnerabilities
• participating in security audits and improving platform protection.

We expect:

• 3+ years of experience in information security
• practical experience in network security
• experience with Fortigate or similar NGFW
• experience with SIEM
• skills in log analysis and incident investigation
• understanding of PCI DSS / ISO 27001 / NIST standards

Will be a plus:

• experience with cloud infrastructure
• CEH / CISSP / Security+ certifications
