AI/ML Specialist

Position: AI/ML Specialist Company: Engineering and Technical Center of the Administrative Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan City: Astana Employment: offline Salary: 750,000 - 1,300,000 KZT gross

The Engineering and Technical Center of the Administrative Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is engaged in the information and technical support of the Presidential Administration, the Administrative Office of the President, the Government Office, the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and other state bodies.

Vacancy description:

• Analyze data, select suitable architectures (from classical ML to neural networks) and train models
• Search for and test new approaches and solutions, adapting them to our needs
• Independently deploy models in a production environment
• Configure the working environment and libraries in the absence of direct internet access
• Configure and integrate local LLMs
• Proficient in Python and the ML stack (Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow)
• Understanding of the mathematics and statistics behind the algorithms
• Experience with modern architectures (NLP, CV, or LLM)
• Ability to package your solutions in Docker (critical for our environment)
• Basic knowledge of Linux and experience in building API services
• Readiness to work completely offline in a secure environment

Will be a plus:

• Experience deploying local language models (LLM)
• Skills in optimizing code for specific hardware (GPU)
• Ability to work with SQL databases
• Experience with RAG, inference/serving
