Responsibilities:

• Ensure the reliability and availability of services on bare metal with Kubernetes on top of hardware • Build and maintain observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki): metrics, dashboards, alerts, SLO/SLI • Respond to incidents, conduct post-mortems, and eliminate root causes • Tune PostgreSQL and other databases under production load, search for bottlenecks • Support CI/CD (GHES, ArgoCD), reduce deployment time and risk • Work with network infrastructure: routing, segmentation, load balancing, and security

Requirements:

• Deep experience with bare metal — no cloud abstractions • Understanding of Kubernetes internals, not just manifests • Experience resolving production incidents under pressure, quickly finding the root cause • Tuning databases under load (priority — PostgreSQL) • Experience building observability and alerting systems from scratch • Experience with on-prem and air-gapped deployments; knowledge of L2/L3, routing, firewall, VPN

Will be a plus:

• Experience with GPU clusters for AI • Ceph, ZFS, and other distributed storage systems • Experience with hardening/compliance for government clients • Air-gap CI/CD

Conditions:
