We are the Mayorov Studio team (recently we were polydev and underwent a rebranding) - we develop complex, high-load, and scalable web services and mobile applications from scratch. We choose technologies, architecture, help with integrations, and of course, code. We create products with a focus on usability, thoughtfulness, and cool visuals.
We are now expanding our team and are looking for a Manual QA Engineer for several products.
Responsibilities:
- Testing web applications (frontend + backend) and mobile applications (iOS/Android)
- Performing smoke and regression testing before releases
- Verifying user scenarios, including negative ones (errors, validations, edge cases)
- Testing APIs (Postman/analog): requests, statuses, errors, response verification (JSON)
- Finding, logging, and tracking defects: clear bug reports with steps, expected/actual results, environment, screenshots/videos
- Maintaining and updating basic testing materials: checklists/test cases
- Interacting with developers and the manager: clarifying requirements, helping to identify risks before development
Our expectations:
- Commercial testing experience of 1 year or more
- Understanding of basic testing principles: types of testing, priorities, what and how to check
- Understanding of client-server basics and HTTP/HTTPS, ability to use browser DevTools
- Confident work with Postman (or analog) and basic understanding of REST API
- Ability to structurally describe a problem and see it through to a fix
- An active, independent, and responsible person, with a desire for self-development and product development
Will be a plus:
- Experience in collecting logs/network issues in mobile (at least at a basic level)
- Interest in test automation (not required, but welcome as a growth direction)
We offer:
- Salary 70,000 - 100,000 RUB net. The exact level will be determined based on the results of the technical interview and test assignment
- Fully remote work from any city or hybrid in our Moscow office (Aviomotornaya metro station).
- Employment under a self-employment contract or as an individual entrepreneur (IP), with full compensation for 28 days of vacation and sick leave.
- Flexible start of the workday - the team works from 10:00 to 19:00 Moscow time, 5/2, but you can start earlier if desired.
