F15, together with one of the world's leading biometric sensor manufacturers, is solving this problem. We are creating a cross-platform distributed system for managing and storing biometric data.
Right now, we are looking for a Software Engineering Manager in Belgrade for a team of 3 developers and 3 QA engineers. You will be responsible for technical direction, delivery timelines, and people development, working closely with the Product Owner of the IB360 product and reporting to the EVP of Product Management.

Mandatory requirements:
💦 6+ years in development, including 2+ years in engineering team management 💦 Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, C#, .NET 💦 Android, Windows, and Linux, MySQL, gRPC 💦 Building and maintaining CI/CD, unit, and integration tests 💦 Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), microservices, and event-driven architecture 💦 Experience in hiring, growing, and retaining strong engineers 💦 Agile methodologies and complex projects in a fast-paced environment 💦 International development and working across time zones 💦 English language skills sufficient to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Will be a plus:
💦 Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering 💦 High-load distributed systems and large data volumes 💦 Data engineering and platform engineering 💦 Implementation of new technologies, processes, or team structures 💦 Open source contributions or participation in the technical community
What a manager does in this role:
🌸 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, and career development discussions with the team 🌸 Technical roadmap for the domain in collaboration with product management 🌸 Code reviews, testing, CI/CD, incident management, architectural standards 🌸 Sprint planning, backlog grooming, bug triage, metrics, and velocity tracking 🌸 System health monitoring, on-call rotations, and SLA management with service partners
Work conditions and culture:
