We are looking for an experienced 2D Match-3 Artist for a wide range of tasks for the Klondike Adventures project team. If you have a good understanding of the casual style, can do a clean render, and have extensive experience with match-3 – we are waiting for you!
Required: portfolio with Match-3 works.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and refining game elements for match-3: tokens, boosters, mechanics, generators, obstacles;
- Creating sketches, concepts, and final renders in the project's specified style;
- Adapting visuals for readability on the game field;
- Preparing mechanic stages: destruction, filling, activation, progress;
- Working with feedback from the lead/art director and making revisions;
- Matching the project's style;
- Checking how the art works in the context of the field, not just as a standalone image.
Requirements:
- Experience with casual / mobile / match-3 projects;
- Ability to create stylized renders, understanding of form and silhouette;
- Confident work with the readability of game elements within the field size;
- Basic understanding of game mechanics;
- Passion for casual mobile games.
It will be a plus:
- Ability to work with a 3D-to-2D pipeline;
- Art education.
