** Senior Ruby on Rails Developer** (Outside of Russia and Belarus) Written is a decentralized digital platform for publishing books, aiming to solve the problems faced by authors in traditional publishing.

What you will be doing: We are a startup in open beta testing, and we have many features to implement. Here are some of our active projects:

• Implementing backend for book examples
• Generating book covers: integration with ComfyUI
• Supporting backend for our blockchain-based monetization models: donations, auctions, crowdfunding, flexible royalties
• Implementing AI-based search using a production-ready Python prototype
• Built-in doc/pdf to epub conversion functionality
• Moderation of user content
• Implementing book narration (most likely integration with a voiceover service provider)
• Complex infrastructure tasks, such as optimizing our current book originality check

What is important to us: • Solid knowledge of Ruby on Rails: 5+ years of practical backend development experience, experience creating and implementing features in actively developing products, not just supporting legacy systems. • Experience integrating with blockchain-based products and fintech solutions, preferably Solana or Ethereum: understanding of data flows on and off the blockchain, wallets, and transaction logic. • Proven experience in designing and scaling API-oriented architecture. • Skills in working with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL), schema design, query optimization, indexing, and familiarity with data migration for production systems. • Ability to work with containerized environments (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and closely collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA specialists.

Will be a plus: • Experience with digital marketplaces or e-commerce systems. • Some experience with Rust.
