Requirements: For a product team that is currently undergoing an active architecture overhaul and a gradual shift away from legacy systems. Stack: Perl (key), SQL / Oracle PL/SQL. Bonus: Ruby on Rails, AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Docker. Responsibilities: Work with the Perl codebase (back-office). Optimize performance and stability. Participate in the gradual modernization of the architecture. Write and improve database operations (stored procedures). Integrations with external services. Collaboration with QA, BA, and other developers. Important: We need a practicing Perl developer. Candidates who have moved on to other languages (Go, etc.) long ago will not be a good fit.
