Network Security Engineer

Responsibilities: • Maintain and develop network security tools: FW/NGFW, IDS/IPS, Proxy, HBFW, and others. • Handle operational work on network access: review, issuance, troubleshooting. • Improve team operational processes. • Update network security documentation — internal and user-facing. • Automate routine tasks and processes: scripts, APIs, integrations. • Participate in the development and enhancement of new internal automation tools.

Requirements: • Experience in implementing and operating network security tools: FW/NGFW, IDS/IPS, Web Proxy, and others. • Solid understanding of network technologies and protocols: TCP/IP, VLAN, TLS, DNS, mTLS, IPsec, QUIC, VRF, routing protocols. • Understand the principles of security mechanisms: SSL/TLS decryption, URL filtering, Application Control, 802.1X, ACL, MAB, Port Security, and others. • Knowledge of modern information security approaches: Zero Trust, Secure by Design, defense-in-depth. • Ability to automate tasks in one or more languages: Python, Go, PowerShell, Bash. • Experience with network access approval and issuance processes.
