Product Designer

Carbox is a multi-product IT company. We create applications used by one in five drivers in Russia. Over 10 million car owners have already chosen Carbox services.

We embrace a data-driven approach and a culture of experimentation. We are currently looking for a strong Product Designer for our core team - Fines. You will be immersed in our processes and participate in creating the best products for car owners with us!

Our goal in Fines is to become the largest private fine payment service by revenue within two years. At the same time, we want to adhere to the principles of speed and top performance, and not turn into a corporation. We work remotely from anywhere in the world, support each other, and are responsible for keeping our promises.

Responsibilities

Role, contribution, communication:

• "Fines" is the highest revenue product, so the work of this role directly impacts the direction's results and, consequently, the entire business.
• We cannot do without this role because for the "Fines" team to grow, we need to implement new functionality that requires designing a user-friendly experience (UX). This is exclusively the responsibility of a product designer.
• The designer communicates with all teammates within "Fines", with other teams, and with the design department.

What you will be doing:

1. Own the design of everything created within the "Fines" team: from idea to production release. How the functionality looks in production is the responsibility of the product designer.
2. Research user experience through customer development, UX tests, hallway testing, and empathy.
3. Identify product growth points, new hypotheses, and test them together with the product manager.
4. Participate in the formation of a unified design system.

Requirements

Full design cycle: Ability to independently lead a product from scratch to results — from research and a strong concept to implementation that the team accepts.

Speed and flexibility: We work at the pace of rapid iterations, not pixel polishing. You can easily switch between tasks and products, effectively prioritizing.

Deep product immersion: You know how to communicate with users, conduct interviews, and "extract" insights. You analyze funnels, metrics, and A/B test results to make informed decisions.

Business orientation: You think in terms of impact on business metrics. You understand not only user needs but also business capabilities/limitations.

Technical expertise: You are a virtuoso with Figma. You work with design systems and understand how your solutions will be implemented in the product.

Responsibility and development: You are ready to take on related tasks and grow with the team. We value critical thinking and the ability to defend your decisions.

Key requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Product Designer.
• Full cycle of interface development for iOS, Android, and Web.
• Expert level Figma skills.
• Understanding of product frameworks (CJM, JTBD, User Stories).
• Experience in conducting user research.
• Ability to work with product analytics and A/B tests.
• Experience with design systems.
