About the Company and Team

Description of the team's general focus:

• Writing technical documentation;
• We maintain documentation for 40+ product groups without copy-pasting;
• We document the APIs on which the Marking System operates;
• We prepare project documentation in large quantities automatically;
• We work directly with developers' analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain technical documentation for users and developers, including API descriptions, in AsciiDoc format in Gitlab;
• Perform UX editing;
• Work with GOST 34 (sometimes, even rarely);
• Interact with the team: developers, testers, analysts.

Candidate Expectations

Tools and Approach (Docs as Code)

Proficient in Git and Markdown (AsciiDoc is a plus).
Understanding and application of the Docs as Code methodology.

Experience and Types of Documentation

Experience with APIs, documentation for developers, and complex IT products.
Skill not only in minor edits but also in restructuring, navigation, and user paths (information architecture).
Experience with mutual documentation reviews.

Processes and Self-Organization

Autonomy: ability to work directly with developers and analysts, identify needs, and gather information independently.
Multitasking: ability to manage a pool of 15–20 parallel tasks, control deadlines and priorities without micromanagement.
Understanding of the release cycle: documentation preparation, review, publication, and post-release verification.

AI and Automation (Priority Area)

Experience using AI tools in IDEs (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code) and working with repositories.
Understanding how AI agents can be integrated into the documentation update process (beyond simple use of chatbots for text generation).
Note: Lack of deep AI experience is not a deal-breaker for strong candidates willing to learn.
