We’re looking for a mid-level Software Developers to build and ship software that uses AI to solve real business problems. You’ll work across our application stack, designing services and APIs and integrating AI capabilities such as language models, intelligent search, and automation. You’ll be part of a collaborative team where everyone owns the outcome, not just their own piece.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, test, and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations that are reliable and scalable.
- Integrate AI and machine learning capabilities into products, including LLM APIs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and workflow automation.
- Build and maintain data pipelines that feed AI features with clean, secure, high-quality data.
- Monitor AI features in production for quality, latency, cost, and safety, and improve them over time.
- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to move faster while keeping code quality high.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning.
- Write clear documentation, and make sure your work has a clear definition of done.
- Partner with product, data, and infrastructure teammates to solve problems end to end, including the gaps between teams.
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong skills in at least one modern language, such as Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI or ML services, such as LLM APIs, embeddings, or prompt-based workflows, into an application.
- Working knowledge of a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Understanding of secure coding, data privacy, and responsible AI practices.
- Clear communication and a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.
- Start-up entrepreneur mind-set is successful.
Nice to Have
- Python experience (a plus).
- Frameworks like FastAPI or Django are especially useful.
- Experience with AI tooling such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or vector databases.
- Exposure to MLOps, model evaluation, or AI observability.
- Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Background in creditcard processing, finance, banking a plus.
