Senior Backend Developer (Go/PHP)

Project: Development of the new DocForge microservice (document package service for the last mile) and its integration with TDS. At the first stage, it is necessary to implement a PoC proxy between TDS and WTIS: accept a request by order ID, launch asynchronous processing, proxy the request to WTIS, get PDF documents, save to S3, provide a full package or a separate document, maintain processing statuses and logs in PostgreSQL.

Tasks:

• Backend development of the DocForge microservice in Go,
• design and implementation of API/worker components,
• integration with TDS, WTIS, and S3,
• preparing the service for test launch and canary deployment by region.

General Work Experience: From 6 years in backend development, including commercial development of high-load services and integrations between internal systems.

Experience with required stack/direction:

• Golang - from 3 years;
• PHP - from 1 year (will be required to study current logic in legacy);
• PostgreSQL - from 3 years;
• REST API - from 3 years;
• development of asynchronous worker processes - from 2 years;
• integration with S3-compatible storage - from 1 year;
• Docker/Kubernetes - from 2 years;
• monitoring and logging - from 2 years;
• Jira/Confluence/GitLab - from 1 year.
• Desirable experience in e-commerce, ERP, document management, transport or warehouse logistics.

Relevant project experience: At least three completed Enterprise-level commercial projects. Mandatory experience in developing microservice architecture, API contracts, background task processing, integration with external/legacy systems, working with failures, retry mechanisms, circuit breakers, and idempotency. Desirable experience in migrating functionality from a monolithic ERP/legacy system to a separate microservice.

Industry Experience: E-commerce, transport logistics, warehouse logistics, document management, ERP/WMS/TMS systems, or Enterprise-level internal corporate platforms.

Mandatory Technologies/Tools: Golang, PHP, REST API, PostgreSQL, JSON/JSONB, S3-compatible storage, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, GoLand/JetBrains IDE, logging and tracing tools.

Desirable Technologies/Tools: Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Kafka or RabbitMQ, Redis, MinIO, Swagger/OpenAPI, feature toggle, CI/CD in GitLab, PlantUML/C4, experience in building services with asynchronous processing and status polling.

Task and Documentation Management Systems: Jira, Confluence, GitLab. It is necessary to manage tasks, record technical solutions, API contracts, execution statuses, and provide a daily report on the work done in an agreed communication channel.
