OpenRate is a platform for restaurants and local B2C businesses that helps them manage reviews, negative feedback, UGC, micro-influencers, and personalized AI recommendations.
We are building a product where: — negative feedback first goes to the establishment as a private recovery case, so the administrator can quickly address the issue before public escalation; — businesses can offer guests compensation, OpenCoins, or a repeat visit to restore trust; — satisfied guests turn into verified reviewers and micro-influencers; — businesses can assign personal missions to users; — recommendations and promo codes are tied to actual receipts to ensure transparent ROI; — based on verified reviews, visits, receipts, and user behavior, we are building an AI assistant that can provide personalized recommendations: where to go, what to try, and which places best suit the user's taste, budget, and context.
Our Big Idea: OpenRate turns reviews into actions, guests into trusted micro-influencers, recommendations into confirmed sales, and verified data into a personal AI assistant for local choices.
We are seeking a Full-stack Developer / CTO Co-founder — an individual who can take ownership of the product's technical aspects: architecture, backend, frontend, infrastructure, CI/CD, code quality, and future team development. We need not just a task-oriented developer, but someone with a founder mindset: one who wants to build a product from scratch, make technical decisions, launch an MVP quickly, collaborate on the product side, and grow with the company.
Frontend — React — Vite — React Router v7
Backend — NestJS — Node.js 22.16 — PostgreSQL — MinIO
CI/CD and Infrastructure — GitHub — GHCR — self-hosted runner — Docker Compose
Product Development — develop the OpenRate MVP; — design the product architecture; — implement frontend and backend functionality; — build dashboards for businesses, users, and administration; — develop the logic for reviews, recovery cases, missions, promo codes, OpenCoins, and AI recommendations; — integrate analytics, statuses, notifications, and internal metrics.
Backend — design APIs and data structures; — work with PostgreSQL; — implement business logic: reviews, cases, statuses, roles, campaigns, promo codes, receipts, rewards; — configure file and media storage using MinIO; — consider anti-fraud, security, access rights, and scalability; — prepare the architecture for future integrations with POS/iiko/R-Keeper and other systems.
Frontend — develop interfaces using React; — build user-friendly flows for guests, businesses, administrators, and micro-influencers; — work with React Router v7; — create a fast, intuitive, and mobile-friendly UX; — transform product hypotheses into working interfaces.
DevOps / Infrastructure — maintain CI/CD through GitHub, GHCR, self-runner, and Docker Compose; — configure deployments, environments, and containerization; — monitor stability, logs, and basic observability; — help establish technical discipline from the outset.
