IT Procurement Manager (Software & Infrastructure)

An international product company that develops and supports product solutions for customer support is looking for an IT Procurement Manager.

Responsibilities:

IT Infrastructure and Software Procurement: • Fulfill requests for acquiring software, cloud services, VPS and Dedicated servers, communication channels, and other IT solutions. • Search for optimal suppliers based on cost, quality, and deadlines. • Solve non-standard tasks related to finding infrastructure in various regions worldwide.

Supplier Relations and Negotiations: • Search for new suppliers and conduct market analysis. • Compare commercial offers, conduct negotiations, and achieve the best terms of cooperation. • Work with international data centers, cloud providers, distributors, and service companies.

Contractual Work: • Conduct initial analysis of contracts from a commercial risk perspective. • Interact with the legal team when finalizing contracts. • Monitor contract expiration dates and timely renewal of agreements.

Financial Support: • Monitor regular payments for infrastructure, licenses, and subscriptions. • Prepare necessary documents for accounting. • Ensure the correct processing of international payments.

License Management: • Maintain records of corporate licenses. • Organize the issuance, redistribution, and revocation of employee licenses. • Monitor license usage and renewal dates.

Candidate Profile: • At least 2 years of experience in IT Procurement, Purchasing, Vendor Management, or IT Asset Management. • Understanding of the IT market and software licensing principles. • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, server solutions, and specifics of interacting with IT vendors. • Understanding of the differences between VPS, Dedicated servers, Colocation, and other infrastructure services. • Experience in conducting negotiations and achieving favorable commercial terms. • Understanding of payment processes, contractual work, and financial document flow. • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets. • English language proficiency at B1+/B2 level or higher, sufficient for correspondence, negotiations, and calls with international suppliers.

Will be an advantage: • Experience with cloud providers and infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Hetzner, OVH). • Understanding of data center operations, telecom infrastructure, and international payments. • Experience in administering corporate licenses (Microsoft, Google Workspace, Atlassian, Adobe, JetBrains, etc.). • Experience working in international or distributed IT companies. • Knowledge of Greek.
