Project Type: Development and support of an LMS platform based on Moodle/Iomad
Location: Remote / Almaty (by agreement)
Responsibilities
- Development and enhancement of LMS platform functionality based on PHP.
- Support and development of existing software code.
- Development and support of REST API.
- Development and optimization of SQL queries.
- Bug fixing and system performance optimization.
- Participation in code reviews.
- Preparation of technical documentation for implemented functionality.
- Work with Git (Merge Request, Code Review).
- Participation in testing and addressing QA feedback.
- Interaction with analysts, testers, and other team members.
Mandatory
- Commercial PHP development experience of 3+ years.
- Solid knowledge of PHP 7.4+.
- Good knowledge of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Experience in REST API development.
- Understanding of OOP principles, SOLID, and design patterns.
- Experience working with Git.
- Experience working with Linux (Ubuntu will be an advantage).
- Skills in writing clean, maintainable, and documented code.
- Ability to analyze existing code and develop new functionality.
- Experience in team development.
Will be an advantage
- Experience in Moodle/Iomad platform development.
- Experience in developing modules and plugins for Moodle.
- Knowledge of Moodle architecture.
- Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of information security principles and OWASP requirements.
- Experience participating in government or educational IT projects.
