After Effects 2D Animator (animated-history channel)

We're Probably Fine, an animated history channel. We're growing our permanent animation team: recurring scenes, episode after episode, not one-off gigs. You get a real pipeline behind you: a fully-rigged character, an animatic, the voiceover, and a director who assigns your scenes and unblocks you when you're stuck.

Role Overview

• Position: 2D Character Animator (recurring, part of a fixed team)
• Core Software: After Effects
• Workflow: animate our pre-rigged characters to a provided animatic + VO

Essential Requirements

• Style Adaptability: match our clean, snappy, deadpan look, less is more
• Comic Timing: strong instincts for comedic pacing
• Rig Animation: comfortable animating character rigs (puppet / IK) in After Effects
• Reliability: deliver on time and stay reachable (scenes connect, the pipeline depends on it)

Preferred Qualifications

• A genuine interest in history
• Experience animating for YouTube channels
• 2.5D camera / motion-blur discipline

To apply: send your reel/portfolio. Shortlisted animators complete a short paid test scene with our actual rig.
