We are the Sber AI team, creating innovative solutions for football match analysis. Our goal is to raise the level of analytics in football, help identify promising players, and improve team strategies. We are looking for a Middle level Computer Vision Engineer to participate in the development of solutions related to the analysis of football match video streams.
Responsibilities
- development and testing of computer vision models for player and ball detection and classification
- application of deep learning algorithms to analyze player behavior and characteristics on the field
- processing of video data: preprocessing, labeling, and creating datasets for model training
- implementation of object tracking and image segmentation methods for match analysis
- optimization and refinement of existing solutions to improve model performance
- participation in collaborative work with analysts and other teams to integrate new features into the product.
Requirements
- higher education in applied mathematics, physics, computer science, or related fields
- from 2 years of experience in computer vision and deep learning
- knowledge of OpenCV, YOLO, Detectron, MMDetection libraries or their equivalents
- understanding of machine learning algorithms, including CNN, segmentation, and object detection
- experience working with video data, including object tracking and preprocessing of video streams
- skills in working with deep learning tools (TensorFlow/PyTorch)
- basic experience in model optimization for speed-up will be a plus
- interest in football, understanding the specifics of sports analytics is welcome
- ability to work in a team, responsibility, and initiative.
Examples of tasks:
- development of models for player and ball detection on video streams
- implementation of algorithms for tracking footballers' movements
- training models to predict gameplay actions, such as movements, kicks, and passes
- optimization of models to improve accuracy and speed.
