(Senior) DevOps Engineer (f/m/d)
Job responsibilities
- Design and operate cloud infrastructure at scale with hands-on experience deploying and managing containerized applications in Kubernetes.
- Work across a stack that includes Kafka, Druid, Airflow, Spark, Terraform, and Gitlab running on Kubernetes clusters across data centers.
- Manage infrastructure in the AWS ecosystem (EKS, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, IAM, Lambda) and infrastructure as code through Terraform.
- Support microservices in a microservice event-driven architecture, ensuring high-performance Go services across distributed environments.
- Build reliable CI/CD pipelines that are fast, predictable, and low-maintenance.
- Migrate existing workloads to self-hosted solutions and introduce new tools to boost business results.
What you’ll do
Work on the Cloud Engineering team to maintain and scale the infrastructure behind Playtime Arcade and related adtech platforms, focusing on cost efficiency, reliability, and performance in a cloud-native, open-source-first environment.
Who you are
- 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering with design and operation experience of cloud infrastructure at scale.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing containerized applications in Kubernetes.
- Deep in the AWS ecosystem with strong understanding of services like EKS, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, IAM, Lambda.
- Experience with Terraform and managing infrastructure as code.
- Familiarity with microservice event-driven architecture, Go services, and distributed environments.
- Ability to build fast, predictable CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfort migrating workloads to self-hosted solutions and introducing new tools to improve outcomes.

Requirements
- 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience deploying and operating containerized apps.
- Strong AWS knowledge (EKS, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, IAM, Lambda).
- Terraform experience and IaC best practices.
- Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures; Go is a plus.
- Strong CI/CD capabilities.
- Willingness to work with self-hosted solutions and new tooling.
