Senior ML Engineer Guitarist (Audio / Music / Guitar)

About the company:

FunCorp is developing a music product for people who sing and play guitar. The product is in a closed experimental phase; the goal is to give the musician the feeling of playing with a live band, not with a fixed backing track.

Tasks:

• Conduct research on a large volume of real guitar jams. • Work with existing open source models and adapt them for musical tasks. • Manage the full development cycle: from idea and research to implementation and deployment. • Develop and improve models for generation and recognition of instrumental performance. • Test the results personally — sit down with a guitar and listen to how the model sounds.

Requirements:

• You play the guitar and love music. • Experience in audio/speech ML: generation, recognition, audio processing. • Skills in working with open source models and adapting them for specific tasks. • Musical ear — the ability to distinguish when the model sounds correct. • Desire to work in an AI-native company.
