📌 Vacancy: Network Automation Engineer
📍 Location: Cyprus

StarTribe is part of a large international holding (name under NDA), which has been creating and developing large-scale and high-load IT products for major companies, including world-renowned brands, for over 10 years.
🌍 The holding employs about 10,000 people in different countries, with the main office located in Cyprus.
🎯 Our main focus is iGaming: we create technological solutions for online entertainment, sports, and games. We operate in the B2B segment and are among the industry leaders (top-10 in the world).
🎯 About the project
We are developing the NOC department, which is responsible for the stability, security, and scalability of the network infrastructure. One of the team's key focuses is automation and the development of internal tools that reduce manual operations, eliminate human errors, and speed up network changes.
💼 Responsibilities
- Develop automation tools and services for network infrastructure management;
- Reduce manual operations and eliminate errors critical to network stability;
- Create, develop, and maintain scripts for managing network devices;
- Integrate via API with existing and implemented internal systems;
- Participate in improving NOC processes with a focus on automation and observability.
💡 Requirements
- At least 3 years of development experience in Python;
- Experience with Django / Flask / FastAPI (including asynchronous programming);
- Excellent knowledge of Linux;
- Understanding of IP / Ethernet network principles and architecture;
- Experience with network equipment (Juniper, Huawei CE, Cisco, or similar);
- Knowledge of network technologies: routing, firewalls, network hardware;
- Experience with monitoring systems;
- High responsibility and attention to detail.
🌟 Bonus points
- Experience with large operator networks, data centers, or distributed networks;
- Knowledge of Go, C languages;
- Understanding and experience with XDP/eBPF, DPDK;
- Understanding and experience with virtualization (QEMU/KVM);
- Good understanding of routing protocols, especially BGP.
