In our team, we are used to frequently conducting research, finding new ways to solve problems, and implementing them, as we directly impact advertising revenue and acceptance processes at Yandex.
Unified identifier for logged-out users for advertising The quality of user identification directly impacts ad quality. By improving the stability of the identifier, we significantly increase advertising revenue. You will need to move the identifier to a separate microservice handling hundreds of thousands of requests per second, stable and reliable.
Accelerating A/B metric calculation to real-time Currently, we calculate metrics at the end of the day, but we need to learn to process petabytes of data in real time. This requires implementing a distributed, sharded calculation system that is stable, reliable, and easy to connect to.
A/B metric calculation infrastructure You will work on separating the infrastructure into independent components, organizing CI, testing, and contracts with consumers. We have over 100 consumer services that need to quickly and independently implement and roll out new product metrics for their services. Our task is to provide a simple and clear tool.
