Q-Data is a startup developing an ML platform for schools.
We are building the product from scratch: complex interfaces for teachers, students, and administrators, analytics dashboards based on machine learning models, and tools for creating educational content.
Deployment is on schools' and ministries' on-premise servers, without external cloud services.
What you will be doing:
• Designing the frontend application architecture and making key technical decisions together with the team lead
• Implementing complex interfaces based on Figma mockups: forms, tables with large amounts of data, dashboards with visualizations
• Developing and maintaining an internal design system
• Designing the client-side layer for API interaction, establishing error handling and edge cases
• Configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for deployment to on-premise servers
• Optimizing performance: bundle size, time-to-interactive, rendering heavy lists and tables
Requirements:
• 5+ years of commercial frontend development experience
• At least 2 years of experience making architectural decisions
• Deep knowledge of TypeScript: generics, conditional types, correct typing without abusing any and as
• Expert level React: understanding reconciliation, re-render optimization, working with Suspense and Server Components (optional)
• Experience with modern state management (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, TanStack Query — it's important to understand what and why you chose them)
• Experience building or supporting a design system / component library
• Experience working with complex forms and tables with large amounts of data
• Confident testing: Jest + React Testing Library, e2e experience (Playwright / Cypress)
• Understanding of build tools and tooling: Vite / Webpack, tree-shaking, code-splitting, bundle analysis
• Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI), Docker, deployment via nginx
• Ability to read other people's code, provide reasoned reviews, and accept criticism
