NLP Developer in Browser

Our team is engaged in the integration and improvement of Alice in Yandex Browser, develops and improves ML in browser functions, allowing the AI assistant to see and interact with web pages. We have launched a short summary of videos and articles, AI editing capabilities — working with text based on YandexGPT, and a function to answer questions about a page. We are looking for strong ML engineers who will develop and create solutions based on modern agent architectures and LLMs, as well as on classical machine learning models.

What tasks await you:

• Improving current models and training new ones You will train classifiers and standard generative models, as well as work on improving complex scenarios based on agents and complex pipelines at the intersection of several technologies. Our tasks include collecting and analyzing data for retraining, as well as the training process itself using SFT- and RL-approaches.

• Collecting rapid prototypes for new projects To launch new products, you need to be able to quickly test hypotheses and build MVPs. The main focus is currently on scenarios involving agents and using RAG for fast processing of large data contexts. It is important for us to quickly test various hypotheses and be able to quickly assemble prototypes, thanks to which we determine future projects and our capabilities.

• Automating ML model validation You will implement systems for automatic assessment of model performance in production.

We expect you to:

• Have ML experience
• Know Python well
• Be proficient in classical algorithms and models
• Have a good understanding of NLP and LLMs

It will be a plus if you:

• Have experience with agents and RAG pipelines
