Looking for a Tech Lead (Node.js / TypeScript / NestJS) for a product-based gaming / marketplace project 🚀

We need a hands-on lead (literally, from the shoulders :D): to manage the team, make architectural decisions, maintain quality, and dive into complex code sections when necessary.

About the project:

• A mature, high-load product with millions of users • P2P transactions and real payments • Thousands of RPS, microservices • PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka • Frontend on Vue / Nuxt • A large technical program on a live product, without business interruption • AI-first development: Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT, and internal AI tools integrated into processes

Responsibilities:

• One cross-functional team • Architecture and technical strategy for the area • Code review and engineering standards • 1-on-1s, people development, hiring, and onboarding • Collaboration with product management • Complex technical tasks and critical fixes, hands-on, when truly needed

What's important:

🎯 NestJS is a must-have here. We need current commercial experience specifically with Node.js + TypeScript + NestJS, not just familiarity with the framework from years ago. 🎯 Real experience managing a team of 3+ people and a good understanding of high-load / distributed systems are also required. A big plus if you have worked with marketplaces, e-commerce, fintech, or gaming. ‼️ This is not a Head position with multiple leads reporting to you. It's more of a player-coach role and owner of one technical direction, with direct contact with the CTO.

The format is fully remote, the team is Russian-speaking, English is not required for work. No test assignment.
