About the project

Intch is a Future of Work platform that connects professionals looking for side projects with companies that need skilled specialists for part-time and project-based work.ё

We are developing:

A B2C application for professionals

A B2B product for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) that are not ready for full-time hiring but need expertise here and now

Our core idea is to make flexible work convenient and scalable for both professionals and businesses.

Team

The company currently has around 30 people. The development team consists of 5 people:

1 frontend developers

1 backend developer

QA / tester

Mobile developer

CTO (backend + lead)

We are looking for an additional backend developer to:

Scale the team’s backend capacity

Increase feature delivery speed

Involve a developer in more strategic and architectural tasks

We currently have a high volume of tasks of different types—from product features and AI experiments to infrastructure improvements. We need a developer who is comfortable in a startup environment, can handle uncertainty, and wants to influence product development.

Team processes

We work in sprints using a delivery approach.

Weekly planning on Mondays: define tasks, estimate, and align on priorities

Daily standups at 11:00 (UTC+3, Moscow time)

Grooming on Fridays: preparing tasks for the next sprint

All developers participate in planning, prioritization, and discussions of architectural and product decisions. Processes are transparent and straightforward, without excessive bureaucracy.

Tech stack

Backend: Python, Django, REST API

Database: PostgreSQL

Infrastructure: AWS, Redis, Celery, OpenSearch

Integrations: OpenAI and other external services

Responsibilities

Main focus:

Develop and improve backend product functionality

Work on AI features: OpenAI integrations, experimental and production AI solutions, rapid research and prototyping

Solve architectural challenges: improve system reliability, prepare for scaling, enhance scalability

Build integrations with external services: chats, calls, AI tools, and other third-party platforms

Work on search and data tasks: develop OpenSearch, improve search and matching logic

Maintain and optimize existing APIs

Requirements

4+ years of development experience

Preferably 2+ years at a Senior level or close to it

Strong knowledge of Python and Django

Experience with PostgreSQL and REST APIs

Understanding of scalable system design principles

Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of results

Interest in the product, AI direction, and growing with the team

Technical education
