Product / Data Analyst (PostHog) — Project-based

About the Role
We are looking for a project-based analyst who will help us set up and implement a product analytics system based on PostHog.
Currently, the team lacks both time and deep expertise, so we need a person who can independently design, implement, and hand over a working analytics system.
This is not a support role, but specifically a project task with a clear result.
🎯 Tasks
- Audit of the current analytics situation
- Designing the event structure (event tracking plan)
- Setting up PostHog:
- Configuring tracking (via frontend/backend, together with developers)
- Verifying data correctness
- Creating basic dashboards for the team
- Documentation:
- Knowledge transfer to the team (handover)
🧠 What's Important
- Work experience with PostHog (required)
- Understanding of product analytics:
- event-based analytics
- CJM / user flows
- funnels and retention
- Ability to independently build a system "from scratch"
- Experience interacting with developers
- Structured thinking (able to turn chaos into a clear system)
💡 Would be a plus
- Experience setting up analytics in startups / early-stage products
- Understanding of product metrics (activation, retention, LTV)
