Senior Node.js Developer (iGaming)

We are helping a product iGaming company in Cyprus find a Senior Node.js Developer for their backend team.

• Work format: remote for the probationary period, then — office, Cyprus
• Location: Limassol, Cyprus
• Employment: Full-time
• Salary range: $4,500–6,500 net per month
• Cooperation format: direct hire to a product company, not outstaff / not subcontract

The company is developing its own gaming platform — a high-load system where stability, performance, and reliability are important. The product includes transactional logic, game scenarios, backend logic, integrations, and tasks related to critical parts of the platform.

Responsibilities:

— develop and maintain backend services on Node.js / TypeScript; — participate in the development of the proprietary gaming platform; — work with transactional logic, game scenarios, and high-load system parts; — ensure the stability and performance of backend services; — work with SQL databases, Kafka, and Redis; — write and maintain unit and e2e tests using Jest; — participate in code reviews and code quality improvements; — participate in improving development processes and CI/CD.

Requirements:

— backend development experience of 5+ years; — solid Node.js experience; — TypeScript experience; — SQL database experience; — Kafka and Redis experience; — experience in writing unit and e2e tests; — understanding of high-load system principles; — experience in optimizing backend service performance; — Russian language for communication with the team.

Will be a plus: — experience in iGaming / FinTech / high-load products; — experience with financial transactions; — experience with payment logic or critical backend services; — experience in improving CI/CD processes.

Important: This position involves relocation to Cyprus after the probationary period and further work from the Limassol office.
