Description

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and develop a team of infrastructure engineers responsible for critical production systems. This role combines people management with strong technical expertise, requiring a solid infrastructure background and deep knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, distributed systems, networking, and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of infrastructure engineers responsible for critical production systems
• Own team execution, delivery, and day-to-day prioritization in alignment with infrastructure strategy and architectural direction
• Run the shared goals and collaborate with the Infrastructure Security, and other platform teams
• Translate infrastructure priorities into clear team plans, milestones for both infrastructure and product teams
• Work with Staff and Senior engineers to ensure technical solutions are delivered effectively and aligned with established architectural principles
• Ensure the reliability, availability, and operational readiness of systems owned by the team
• Own the team’s operational practices, incident response, postmortems, and completion of follow-up actions
• Set clear expectations, run regular 1:1s, provide actionable feedback, and support engineers through performance reviews and Individual Development Plans

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• 7+ years of experience in software, infrastructure, SRE, or platform engineering, including 2+ years in an engineering management role within a Platform cluster
