What you will be doing:
- Production of assigned author projects.
- Development of a program/story/interview synopsis.
- Preparation of program scripts.
- Preparation of interview questions.
- Going on shoots, coordinating the shooting process, recording stand-ups and interviews.
- Reviewing footage, writing voice-overs, transcribing interviews, creating an editing plan.
- Participation in the editing process.
- As instructed by chief editors and producers, carrying out urgent shoots, writing and editing news materials.
- Monitoring video transfers during on-location shoots for broadcast.
- Remotely (in case of transfer) or physically monitoring the editing process of material for broadcast (providing sync timecodes, selecting material for editing).
- Keeping track of topic updates and suggesting changes in the development of already prepared news materials.
- Approving scripts with the supervisor and chief editor.
- Writing titles for stories and voice-over materials, formatting stories according to the approved design.
- Monitoring the script approval process.
What we are looking for in candidates:
- At least 2 years of experience as a correspondent in business media (TV / video media).
- Portfolio with examples of stories, reports, interviews, or author programs.
- Experience in the full cycle of material production: synopsis, script, shooting, editing, broadcast.
- Ability to write scripts, voice-overs, interview questions, and titles.
- Experience with on-location shoots, coordinating a film crew, recording stand-ups and interviews.
- Understanding of editing: selecting syncs and material, working with timecodes and editing plans.
- Readiness for urgent shoots and preparing materials for broadcast.
- Fluent spoken and written Russian.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
