QA Engineer (Manual) — Middle+

KVAN 💰 $1600–1920 (10–12 $/hour) • Remote (outside RF, RB, Ukraine; preferably Europe/CIS, MSK ±2–3 h) • Contract • Full-time. RF/RB Citizenship

Project: medical web application for doctors (US market), international distributed team. Full QA cycle: from requirements analysis and test documentation to defect search and support.

Responsibilities:

· Functional, integration, E2E, smoke, and regression testing · Requirements and documentation analysis, risk identification · Maintaining test cases, checklists, test scenarios · Manual testing of Frontend, Backend, and API · Quality bug reports, defect prioritization, and support · Log analysis, problem diagnostics, team interaction · Documentation and correspondence in English

Mandatory requirements:

· Testing theory: types and techniques, defect life cycle, development processes · Web/Frontend: web application functional testing, DevTools (Elements, Console, Network, Application), basic HTML/CSS · Backend/API: Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, request collections, client-server architecture, REST, HTTP methods · DB: SQL (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, filtering, joining), MySQL or other relational DBs · Tools: GitHub, AI tools for QA · English B1+ (documentation, correspondence) · Independence, analytical thinking, attention to detail, working in a distributed team

Nice to have: WireMock, WebSocket, Linux CLI, XML/XSD, JMeter, Docker, CI/CD, meetings in English

Conditions: 3-month probation period, long-term project (from 1 year)
