Junior Product Manager
*instinctools is a software development company that provides custom software solutions for businesses of all sizes. Our team works closely with clients to understand their specific needs and provide personalized solutions that meet their business requirements.
Our team is looking for a Junior Product Manager for one of our clients.
Our customer is one of the TOP-3 global management consulting firms considered to be among the most prestigious ones in the world. Hundreds of customers from Fortune-500, including the largest global financial institutions, the world’s top media companies, technology companies and federal government agencies rely on our Client’s proven platform and services.
A junior product role supporting the PM across IM Pro and Solution Suite. The person in this seat enables the PM to stay focused on feature scoping with domain experts, delivery direction across both teams, stakeholder management, user research, and the cross-product integration work.
Responsibilities and tasks:
- Backlog management — Both Jira boards (IMPRO and Solution SUITE). User story refinement, grooming, ensuring tickets are ready and unambiguous for sprint planning.
- Release readiness — Owning the quality bar before features go out. Defining acceptance criteria and running pre-release validation.
- Product judgment work that includes hands-on functional testing — the team does not have a dedicated QA function, and this role absorbs that responsibility end-to-end.
- Documentation — Specs, release notes, feature summaries. Maintaining the record of what was built across multiple repos and integrations.
- User research support — Running user interviews alongside the PM (primarily Solution Suite at first), synthesizing feedback into something actionable for the team.
Our expectations of the candidate:
- 1–3 years in product management, product operations, or a closely adjacent role
- Hands-on Jira and agile experience — able to run a board, not just use one
- Experience running user interviews independently and synthesizing findings
- Comfortable working with data engineers and analysts — does not need to be technical, but should be able to follow a technical conversation
- Fluent with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or equivalents) for drafting specs, refining tickets, and synthesizing interviews — uses them as part of how they work, not as an experiment
- English: Upper-Intermediate
Nice to have:
- Some technical literacy (reading API specs, understanding data pipelines at a high level)
- Exposure to AI/ML or agentic products
Soft skills:
- Able to operate independently after onboarding
- Detail-oriented, proactive, strong written communication
We offer:
- flexible working time;
- professional and ambitious team;
- transparent system of professional and career development;
- learning opportunities, seminars and conferences and time for exploring new technologies;
- the opportunity to realize your potential outside the projects: we arrange meetups and conferences where our staff can perform, develop professional communities;
- full remote work;
- co-funding for language courses (English).
