🚀 Looking for Chief Technology Officer (CTO) / Chief AI Officer (CAIO) 📍 EU, hybrid-remote 💼 Full-time 📅 Long-term project 🌍 Project language: English (German will be a plus)

We are looking for a CTO / Chief AI Officer for a deep-tech spinoff building AI diagnostic engines on proprietary genomic data.

Requirements: ✅ MSc or PhD in Data Science, AI or Databases — Bioinformatics / Computational Biology strongly preferred ✅ Hands-on experience building, scaling and deploying production-grade ML models (PyTorch / TensorFlow) ✅ Proven experience architecting cloud AI/data infrastructure from scratch (not maintaining legacy) ✅ Strong knowledge of: Scalable backend & data pipeline architecture NGS / genomic data ingestion via APIs (Novogene or similar labs) Security architecture: Privacy by Design, GDPR / HIPAA Database design and full-stack ownership at zero-to-one stage ✅ Founder's mindset: high tolerance for early-stage ambiguity, ready to build from zero to one ✅ English (German is a plus)

Responsibilities: • Architect, build and deploy the global cloud AI diagnostic processing infrastructure • Build the data flywheel: secure, scalable ingestion of raw NGS data from decentralized 3rd-party labs • Design, train and deploy ML models across a new class of small RNAs • Own early database creation, security architecture, GDPR/HIPAA compliance, initial web endpoints and web presence
